The group of southern Dalmatian islands includes Korcula, Lastovo, the Elaphite islands, near Dubrovnik and the island of Mljet. The Elaphite islands include Sipan, Lopud and Kolocep. North of the Elaphite islands is the island of Mljet, part of which is a national park. Should you decide to go further you will reach the islands of Lastovo and Korcula. On the island of Korcula you will see the island's historical tradition displayed in knight games and taste delicious wines which compliment Dalmatian specialties. Day 1 :: Arrival at the port in Split ::
If you are arriving by plane we will organize transportation from the airport in Split. If you are making your own transportation arrangements we will meet in front of the ferry for the island of Vis. Upon arriving on the island of Vis we will go over the program and make plans for the following day. We will stay on the island of Vis for 5 days.
Day 2 :: Bisevo ::
With the help of a small boat we will sail to the island of Bisevo and visit the well known Modra Spilja - Blue Grotto - (we will enter the cave by boat), the habitat of the Mediterranean she-bear. After exploring the cave we will walk across the island to Porat cove where a boat will be waiting for us - possible break for swimming. We will return to the island of Vis by boat - to Barjaska cove and then onward through the macchia of wild rosemary to Komiza. The scent of rosemary will follow us over the next few days.

Day 3 :: Hum ::
Transfer to the highest island peak of Hum (564 m) with an unforgettable view of Komiza, Bisevo, Sv. Andrija... On foot to Tito's cave and onwards through the village of Zena Glava, vast vineyards to the village of Plisko Polje. Lunch at the local winery. After lunch we will continue walking to Vis and descend the clearing filled with the scent of rosemary.

Day 4 :: Vis vineyards ::
Today we will visit the south side of the island of Vis with its beautiful coves and small islands where seagulls nest. First we will go over the beautifully scented hills above Vis to the village of Podselje and through the plantation of the famous Vugava of Vis (white wine) to the village of Rukavac and then to Srebrena cove. We can also go swimming on the island's most beautiful beach. We will have lunch in a village backyard. Return to Vis in the afternoon over the peak of Zecja glava.

Day 5 :: The northern hillside of the island ::
Today's route takes us directly from Komiza over the Zagrebenje pass to the north side of the island with extremely steep and rocky coasts. With the help of good paths we will pass through the picturesque village of Okljucina, through small olive groves and vineyards to Karst valley of Donja Poljica, and then descend by way of the old path of Vis laborers directly into Vis. Lunch will follow - a picnic under olive trees.

Day 6 :: Transfer to the island of Hvar ::
After an early breakfast we will sail to Split. In the accompaniment of our local guide we will go sightseeing and explore the historical core of the city including Diocletian's cellar and palace... After lunch at a local restaurant we will board the ferry and sail to the island of Hvar where we will stay for 3 days.
Day 7 :: The island of lavender ::
Today we will be on the territory of the intoxicating scent of lavender. Along the paths of laborers we will walk past vast terraces of the sunniest island on the Adriatic until we reach the village of Milna hidden in a secluded cove. After lunch at a local restaurant we will end the day's route in the town of Hvar.

Day 8 :: The island of Brac ::
Today we will visit the highest island peak on the Adriatic - Vidova gora (778 m). We will sail to the island of Brac and then take a minibus to the village of Gazul. From there we will walk through the centuries-old pine forest, past many herds of sheep to the peak itself and from there enjoy a unique view of Bol, Zlatni rat, the famous beach, surrounding islands and their deep coves as well as the seaside mountains of Biokovo, Mosor, Kozjak... Lunch at a mountain house.

Day 9 :: The town of Hvar ::
From the island's high plains, from the village of Brusje, we will descend on foot to the town of Hvar where we will be greeted by a local guide who will uncover all of the secrets of Hvar. We will enjoy the unforgettable view of rooftops from the walls of the Citadel situated on the hill overlooking the town...
After having lunch at a local restaurant we will have some free time till the boat leaves to take us to Korcula where we will spend the next 6 days.

Day 10 :: Korcula - the town of Marco Polo ::
In the afternoon we will go sightseeing in the town Korcula accompanied by a local guide and visit its rich treasure... After lunch we will take a boat to a small neighboring island and visit the Korcula archipelago, disembark on the small islands of Vrnik, Badija, Stupe, and stroll through the solitude...

Day 11 :: Dubrovnik - monument city ::
First by ferry and then by minibus to Dubrovnik. In the company of a local guide we will explore the curiosities of this ancient city filled with historical beauties. We will have lunch at a local restaurant and after lunch we will continue to enjoy this beautiful city strolling along its walls...
Day 12 :: Mljet National Park ::
Today we will visit the Mljet National Park on the island bearing the same name. A boat will take us to Pomena cove and from there we will continue on foot to the large and small lake to the belvedere of Montokuc, enjoy the spectacular high tide and low tide on Mali most, sail to the small island and visit the St. Mary's convent... Lunch will follow - a picnic by the lake.

Day 13 :: 'Defora' route ::
Today we will visit three picturesque coves on foot: Bratinja luku, Pavja luku and Orlandusa - jointly known as 'Defora'. Deeply cut coves with beautiful beaches and crystal clear sea are irresistible spots for swimming. We will have lunch at a homestead.

Day 14 :: Peljesac peninsula ::
We will cross the Peljesac canal by boat to the village of Kuciste on Peljesac. The path will take us to the southern hills through deserted vineyards to the convent of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary where the marine museum, in front of which is spectacular view of the Peljesac and Korcula Riviera. After lunch - a picnic - we will continue through the village right to Orebic.

Day 15 :: Transfer by boat to Split ::
Return home. If you arrived by plane we will organize transportation to the airport.
